4 years ago, three 40-something men met at a crossroads in their lives and decided to do something about it.
Seasoned Ironman and fitness expert Joe Turcotte of Colorado and two then novices, Californian Keith Kober and Kevin Brown of Massachusetts - each competing on behalf of their own respective charities -met, bonded and decided to combine their efforts to raise funds for those less fortunate.
Project TriNutz was born.
Under Joe's tutelage Keith and Kevin pledged to each compete and complete all six WTC Ironmen triathlons in the United States in less than a year, beginning Nov.1 2009 with Ironman Florida and they DID!
Throughout their journey, they raised money, awareness, hope and expectations for others.
Physically, Spiritually, Emotionally Possible? Insane? Perhaps--
But definitely Nutz!
